A double win at Communique

The Communique Awards are a highlight of the Pegasus calendar and this year didn’t disappoint, as Helen Pattison, Head of Business Development & Marketing, explains.

Each year Communique arrives with a buzz of excitement and fingers well and truly crossed! With a year’s hard graft under our belt, we looked forward to seeing how we’ve fared against our industry peers (and friendly rivals!). Hot with both anticipation and this unusually balmy weather, we took our seats in the ballroom of London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane.

As it turns out, it was a fantastic night for Pegasus. We were shortlisted in five categories, and scooped the awards for Excellence in Media Relations and Excellence in Public Health Communications for our Small Talk Saves Lives campaign for Network Rail and Samaritans. We also received a Highly Commended for Communications Consultancy of the Year.

As you can imagine, there was much celebration back at Pegasus HQ. But now that our black ties and black dresses are back in the wardrobe, in true Peggy spirit, we roll up our sleeves and crack on with creating even more impactful and inspiring work.

HOT OFF THE PRESS: We’ve also just heard that we’ve made the PRWeek Awards shortlist and are finalists in three campaign categories for Small Talk Saves Lives, as well as being in the running for Best Consultancy Outside of London.
